About Us

Trust Conference at the European Parliament is a spin-off of the global Trust Conference.

Both events are committed to finding real solutions to fight modern-day slavery worldwide.

Taking place from 6pm to 9pm, the conference is hosted by Thomson Reuters Foundation CEO Monique Villa, Vice-President of the European Parliament Heidi Hautala MEP and Bernd Lange MEP, Chair of the EU Committee on International Trade.

The event will assess how the issue of slavery and trafficking is being addressed across the European Union from both a business and legislative perspective. Delegates will hear powerful stories from survivors of slavery, as well as insights from law makers and business leaders into one of the world’s fastest-growing crimes.
