Noor was born in the North West of Pakistan, one of the most neglected parts of the country. In 2008, Noor was awarded a USAID scholarship and completed her Masters in Business Administration. Alongside her colleagues, she co-founded SAWERA, an NGO. She has rich experience in leadership management, effective planning and implementation. She has been heavily involved in women’s rights movements and combating violence against women at KP and FATA.
SAWERA, the NGO that she founded is the recipient of the Front Line Defender Award. The award was given to SAWERA team for empowering women in high risk regions of Pakistan.
