Lalaina Randriarimanana works for Liberty 32 promoting citizens ‘political participation through volunteering, youth empowerment and their awareness on human rights and civic engagement. She has over twenty years of experience in non-formal education through her involvement in Scout Movement where she currently serves as Trainer of trainers. As an independent consultant, she is interested in policy making and capacity building with a focus on human security, civil resistance, leadership and peace building. With a background in economics, she has pursued her postgraduate studies in environment and peace studies. Her research interests are natural resource management, leadership and conflict, political instability and social violence.
