Since joining Hilton in 2013, Caroline leads on Corporate Responsibility for Hilton Worldwide in Europe, Middle East and Africa, covering over 400 hotels and 8 brands in 54 countries. She initiated the company’s very first Human Rights Policy and Strategy and leads on its development and implementation at a global level. Prior to joining Hilton, Caroline looked after CR for Sodexo UK & Ireland, empowering over 33,000 employees to embrace sustainability, and proposed a structured approach to human rights to the group, further to reviewing the company’s global Supplier Code of Conduct in 2010. In 2009, Caroline interned with the UN Special Representative for Business and Human Rights, providing gender expertise to the development of the Ruggie Framework. Caroline holds a Masters of Arts in International Relations, International Economics and International Law from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University and a double Diploma in Political Science from the Institut d’Etudes Politique in Lille, France (Sciences Po), and the Westfaelische Universitaet Muenster, Germany. She is an unconditional cyclist and passionate amateur dancer.
