Founder, Eat Better Wa’ik
Bibi la Luz is the Founder of Eat Better Wa’ik, an organization devoted to fight malnutrition through education and economics. Serving as Curator of the Global Shapers Guatemala City Hub, she also developed leading movements against human trafficking and promoting sexual reproductive health rights with Honrada No Vendida, and combating modern slavery with UnShape Slavery, a global collaboration throughout Global Shapers Community - an initiative of the World Economic Forum. She has worked on environment, resilience, gender equality, migration, peace building, innovation, social entrepreneurship and partnerships through UN agencies, journalism, academia.
Bibi holds an MA. International Political Economy from the University of Warwick (UK), and she is a One Young World Speaker & Ambassador, Young Leader of the Americas Initiative Fellow, Merit360, Global Shaper, and now Trust 2019 Changemaker. She has music, sports and stoicism by her side.
