Florence Rebecca Nassali is an activist for girl’s education in Africa and has been actively engaged with advocating for women rights to education, owning property and representation in leadership. Florence has founded the Real women Organisation that has advocated for girl’s education and women rights in Uganda and South Sudan. The Organisation is presently fundraising for the Ssali Education Fund, a project that is inspired by her father’s commitment to educating the girl child. Florence has over 10 years’ experience of working with charities in Africa and the UK involved in humanitarian response. She holds a Master’s degree in Disasters and Development from King’s College London and is currently a Doctoral candidate at the university of Westminster with the department of Politics and International Relations.
