Slave Free Trade
Slave Free Trade is a Geneva-based NGO that works on eliminating slavery in business supply chains. The NGO does this specifically by spreading information about slavery among consumers, retailers, workers, employers, businesses and their suppliers. Sandra’s role is to conduct legal researches on national legislation related to slavery, particularly in African Countries, and to examine whether there is a legal framework protecting people from slavery, and to what extent this framework is implemented. Sandra makes recommendations on how anti-slavery legislation can be improved and has expertise on the African nations including DR Congo, Ivory Coast, Morroco and Tunisia.
