Founder and General Manager, AGAPE
Veronica is Founder and General Manager of AGAPE, a Mexican-based NGO that uses different technological approaches to raise public awareness against human trafficking and domestic violence, and which has become a leading source of information for the prevention of this crime in Mexico, across Latin America, and in Europe. Veronica was selected to represent civil society before the Inter-Ministerial Commission against human trafficking nationwide. She has also worked in public policy making, in the creation of specialised protocols on human trafficking victim assistance, and in the training of public officials, judges and civil society in coordination with International Organizations like the UN Migration Agency. In the OECD she has worked to shape civil society’s recommendations for gender equality in a multilateral framework.
