Longdy Chhap is studying to become a counselor. He was born in Cambodia and when he was only eight-years-old, he was trafficked from his hometown across to Thailand. As a polio victim, he was forced to beg on the streets for six years before he was finally rescued and sent to Hagar Cambodia for help. In 2010, he joined Hagar as an mentor with Boys Recovery Project. In 2015, Longdy joined Flame ministries Student Center (Flame) as a intern counselor. Longdy also received training in Systematic Counseling from Hagar International. After he graduates, he hopes to become a counselor to sharing his experiences and skills.
