Director of Social Impact and External Affairs at General Assembly
Tom Ogletree is Director of Social Impact and External Affairs at General Assembly, a global educational company. There, he leads design and implementation of programs empowering low-income adults from underrepresented communities to pursue tech careers. Through GA’s social impact programs, nearly 500 adults have secured full scholarships to attend GA’s career transformation training, and these initiatives been recognized by Best for NYC, Fast Company, and MIT. Tom has extensive experience in the public and social service sectors, with past leadership roles at the Clinton Foundation, CCS Fundraising, and GLAAD. He received his BA from Yale and his MPA from NYU.
