Mr. Ahmed Raza is a social activist, researcher & a proud feminist. He has worked in the development sector for last 07 years and has experience on women empowerment, child protection, anti-slavery & girl’s education. He has worked with Government Departments, NGOs & INGOs.
He has initiated the GBV Programme focusing violence against women funded by USAID in Sindh Province, Pakistan and served as a Hub Lead Coordinator. He has also established toll free GBV helpline “0800-80900” in Sindh province for Roshni Helpline Pakistan which provides psychological counselling, legal advice, information/ guidance and other referral services to GBV survivors. He has also established Pakistan’s 1st missing children helpline 1138 along with development of recovery network of missing children. He has also established child & women friendly spaces during different emergencies (IDPs/floods). He is also a trainer, researcher and a development consultant.
