Social Justice and Women’s Rights Activist, Creator of Period Drama and Unplugged
Casey Hartnett is a New York City based actor, writer, producer and activist whose work focuses on social justice and women’s rights issues. Her acting and producing work spans several independent feature films and stage work and she is the creator of two comedic web series tackling taboo women’s issues, Period Drama and Unplugged. Her web series Period Drama, about women in different time periods having their periods, led to her running the NYC chapter for the non-profit organzation #HappyPeriod, providing menstrual products to homeless and low-income communities in need. Casey also sits on the organization’s Honorary Board.
