Belize Youth Empowerment for Change
Stephen is an LGBT youth activist from Roaring Creek Village, Belize and is presently an active Primary School Teacher. His experiences extend to Anti-Human Trafficking efforts with a focus on marginalised populations and access to justice. He has served as Belize's Secretariat on the Anti-Human Trafficking in
Stephen has also served as the Executive President of the Belize Youth Empowerment for Change, which strives to promote equality and diversity through active community involvement of young LGBT people in Belize, and the United Nations Population Fund UNFPA Youth Advisory group as a Sexual and Reproductive Rights Advocate and Go-Belize Young Leaders Training. His experience involves participation in the Montevideo Consensus for Population and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Stephen also is a One Young World Peace Ambassador 2017 and a Young Leaders of the American Initiative 2016 cohort from President Obama.
