Policy and Advocacy Manager, Internet Society
Akriti is a public policy professional whose work revolves around the intersection of human rights and internet governance. She has advocated for stronger digital rights in international and national fora. As chair of the Cross-Community Working Party on Human Rights at ICANN, she designed and presented their first Human Rights Impact Assessment. She has contributed to national discourse on technology policy through her research, media engagements and work with the Government in drafting policies. She currently works as a policy and advocacy manager for India, at the Internet Society. She hopes to further the cause of human rights, especially in the digital sphere.
