CEO, E.L. Rothschild LLC, and Founder, Coalition for Inclusive Capitalism
Lady de Rothschild is the Chief Executive of E.L. Rothschild LLC, a private family office with interests in media, telecommunications, asset management, technology and real estate. The company is focused on long-term value creation and acquires both indirect and active direct holdings, most often in partnerships with management teams and other investment groups. She is also the Founder of the Coalition for Inclusive Capitalism, a charity devoted to advancing economic and social inclusion.
Since 2000, Lady de Rothschild has been a member of the Board of Directors and Nominating & Governance Committee of The Estee Lauder Companies. Between 2000 and 2015 she was a member of the Board of The Economist Group, and member of the Audit Committee and she is presently serves as member of the Board and Executive Committee of the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the McCain Institute for International Leadership, the Corporate Governance Exchange and ERANDA Rothschild Foundation, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Chatham House.
Lady de Rothschild is often a featured speaker at global forums and corporate and university events, including the United Nations, World Bank, G20 Investor Forum, OECD, University of Oxford, Tsinghua University, and Peking University. She has also published in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Huffington Post, and The Guardian. In 2007, Lady de Rothschild was awarded the Commendatore Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana. She graduated Magna cum Laude and Beta Kappa from Pomona College in Claremont, CA (1976) and from Columbia University School of Law, NYC (1980) with a Juris Doctor with honors.
