Giulia Corinaldi

Director of Inclusive Economies, Thomson Reuters Foundation

Giulia Corinaldi joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2018 as Head of Programmes for TrustLaw, the Foundation’s global pro bono connection service, and is now Director of Inclusive Economies, focusing on using the power of the law and the media to end modern slavery, protect data rights and shift economic and business models to being more equitable, sustainable and participatory. Giulia founded and led an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Working Group focusing on strengthening the S metric in ESG investing.

Giulia is passionate about women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship and technology and has built global, high-profile, cross-sector partnerships in these spaces. She played a pivotal role in helping the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women grow from a small start-up into a global brand, serving as Mentoring Programme Director and interim Chief Executive Officer. In all of her positions, Giulia has worked to develop strategy and overall growth plans, as well as forge strong partnerships among diverse stakeholders. She has also acted as a consultant for Kernig Foundation and UNESCO in Paris.

Giulia is the Chair of the Board of Value for Women and has supported this small social enterprise to grow from 6 employees to a 35-person multi-disciplinary global leader in gender lens investing.
